Notes
Batteries
The battery compartment is designed to fit a 5×AA inline 6V battery pack. The additional cell provides extra voltage, giving the servos more power and improved performance under load.
Servos
The servos listed on this page are recommended options, but many alternatives will work just as well. Both positions use standard-size servos.
The sail arm servo should ideally be more powerful than the rudder servo, as it needs to handle higher loads when sheeting in the sail. Savox servos are a strong, reliable choice, but more affordable alternatives can also be used depending on your budget.
