Racing Sparrow Footy 305 – Licensing Overview

Racing Sparrow licences are designed to clearly separate private individual use from institutional classroom deployment.

All licences are one-off purchases. No annual renewal fees apply.

Personal Licence – Unlimited Private Use

Designed for individual builders.

This licence permits:

  • Unlimited builds for personal, non-commercial use

  • Use by one private individual

  • Printing of replacement parts for personal use

This licence does not permit:

  • Classroom, club, or institutional use

  • Paid instruction use

  • File sharing or redistribution

Educational Licence – Single Institution

Designed for schools, clubs, and educational organisations.

This licence permits:

  • Classroom teaching use within one institution

  • Multiple students building boats as part of structured teaching

  • Internal storage of files on institutional systems

  • Internal printing of replacement parts

This licence applies to one school, club, or organisation.

Files may not be shared outside the licensed institution.

Restrictions (All Licence Tiers)

  • Commercial resale of printed boats or printed parts is not permitted

  • Redistribution or resale of STL files is not permitted

  • Uploading files to shared drives outside the licensed scope is not permitted

  • Licences are non-transferable
