設計図では6x4mmの長方形カーボンロッドを指定しています。これはニュージーランドで入手可能ですが、他の国で入手できない場合は、4x4mmの正方形ロッドを代用として使用してください。キールスロットはさまざまな材料やサイズの組み合わせに対応するよう設計されています。一部のビルダーはカーボンの代わりに4mmのアルミバーを使用した例もあります。
