RS1000 3D Sailing Video

This is the 3rd prototype RS1000mm sailing on a lovely light-medium wind day in Nelson, New Zealand. She is really easy to sail and the balance is really good now we've been through the prototyping process. Initial boats had more lead in the bulb and further aft.

This latest model is nicely balanced with a 2.3Kg keel with a total sailing weight of 3.8Kg. The mast is 1.25m tall. This model will be available soon as an STL set you can print and build yourself. 2 Channel RC required. Lead shot and carbon lengths for spars also needed along with glues and sail materials. The build is short, simple and cheap.
